Become a tester

GhostChat is in testing on Google Play. Testers get new versions first and help us find bugs before everyone else. It takes three steps and a couple of minutes.

1. Join the Google Group

   Google Play only lets members of our tester group install the test version. Open the group, sign in with the same Google account you use on your Android phone, and tap Join group.

2. Opt in on Google Play

   Once you're in the group, open the testing page and tap Become a tester. If the page says the app isn't available, wait a few minutes after joining the group and try again.

3. Download GhostChat

   Now install the app from Google Play on your phone. Updates arrive through Google Play like any other app.

Something not working?

Make sure the Google account in the group is the same one signed in to Google Play on your phone. If you have several accounts, switch to that one in the Play Store. Still stuck, or found a bug? Email [email protected].

You can stop testing any time from the testing page by tapping Leave the program.
